In Memory of Dezzy.

In Memory of Dezzy,
(My brother)

The eyes are the windows to the soul
And through the eyes you'll see a hole,
A hole in our hearts that aches and pains,
A strong type of hurt that flows through our veins.

And in some time the hurt will recede
So family and friends are what we need
To heal the soul, the body, the mind,
To put the misery and tears behind.

Faith is not lost; it's just not found.
He really is above the clouds and not beneath the ground.
So try and try to cast away the pain
For no one has been lost, just an angel has been gained.

Now in this time and place
Here I stand and look you all in the face
For it's completely clear to me
That each of us truly miss and love Dezzy.

Life is a gift so together we will embrace it,
Even though when we feel defeat, forever we will face it.
