(MHRA)yesterday The MHRA hopes its National Rules Scheme for homeopathic medicines will increase consumer confidence through better packaging. Companies will be allowed to include information about the treatment and relief of minor conditions "based on the use of the product within the homeopathic tradition". This means companies can rely on the historical benefits of a medicine, rather than having to prove its effectiveness in clinical trials. Products will also have patient information leaflets. |
