Implant Sciences Receives Initial Order for Sale of Explosives Detection Equipment in Lebanon; Homeland Integrated Security Systems Orders Fifty (50) Quantum Sniffers for Distribution to Lebanon.

WAKEFIELD, Mass. -- Implant Sciences Corporation (AMEX: "IMX", "IMX.WS") a developer and manufacturer of products for national security, medicine and industry, today announced the receipt of a purchase order for fifty (50) Quantum Sniffer(TM) explosives detectors from Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (Pink Sheets: "HISC"), the Company's exclusive distributor of explosives detection equipment in Lebanon. This purchase order provides for an initial shipment of twenty (20) units to HISC in the Company's third quarter of fiscal 2006, which will begin January 1, 2006, for which an advance payment equal to thirty percent (30%) of the purchase price has been received. Upon shipment of the initial twenty (20) units, the purchase order provides for the production of the remaining thirty (30) units and shipment to HISC in the Company's fourth quarter of fiscal 2006. We understand that the initial shipment of Quantum Sniffers will be sold to a leading Lebanese security company for the security and protection of commercial buildings, such as hotels, and government installations.
