(AMEX: RAE), a leading global provider of rapidly deployable sensor networks that enable customers to identify safety and security threats in real time, today announced RAE Systems has signed an agreement with Implant Sciences to explore the deployment of Implant Science's QS-H150 Portable Explosives Trace Detector Explosives trace detector's (ETD) are security equipment able to detect explosives of small magnitude. Devices similar to ETDs are also used to detect narcotics. The equipment is used mainly in airports and other vulnerable areas considered susceptible to acts of unlawful  into AreaRAE wireless sensor networks.

"Homeland security customers worldwide are continually looking for more sensitive and non-invasive explosive detection solutions. This partnership with Implant Sciences expands RAE Systems' open wireless network strategy for meeting the Chemical, Biological, Radiation, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE CBRNE Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Explosive

"We see this partnership with RAE Systems as an opportunity to equip first responders with next generation detection technology that can provide real-time information to incident commanders in a variety of high security environments."

Implant Sciences' proprietary Quantum Sniffer(TM) technology and products are differentiated from competitors. The company's products detect a wide array of explosives using a proprietary non-contact vortex sampling system. Further, the equipment does not require a radioactive source and has extremely low operating costs. The Quantum Sniffer has been sold worldwide for use by first responders, such as local law enforcement, maritime security, air and ground transportation logistics, aviation security, private and government infrastructure security, and cargo delivery.
