NSC-24 was developed with the assistance of the late Austin Smith, MD, who was former editor of the Journal of American Medical Association American Medical Association (AMA), professional physicians' organization (founded 1847). Its goals are to protect the interests of American physicians, advance public health, and support the growth of medical science. , president of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association, chairman and chief executive officer of Parke Davis and vice chairman of Warner Lambert Co.

An esteemed leader in the health profession who devoted his life to the study of improving health, especially with immune stimulants and their anti-aging and health related effects, Smith believed that a nutritional approach could vastly improve and strengthen the body's immune system and have definite anti-aging and health enhancing effects.

Dr. Peter Mansell, former medical director of the Institute for Immunological Disorders, has been conducting research with immunostimulants in tumors and the symptoms of AIDS since 1973.

An acknowledged authority on HIV HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus), either of two closely related retroviruses that invade T-helper lymphocytes and are responsible for AIDS. There are two types of HIV: HIV-1 and HIV-2. HIV-1 is responsible for the vast majority of AIDS in the United States.  and cancer, Mansell said that research dating back a half century shows that specific yeast beta glucans glucans (gloo´kans),

capabilities, NSC-24 as a nutritional supplement is a product that, according to doctors and researchers, has potential to benefit those with impaired immunity due to infection or to those who are over 40 -- when the natural aging process becomes evident and level of immunity decreases.

NSC-24 has been introduced nationally by radio and has been initially very well received by the public. The product will be in over 1,000 newspapers and over 80 health related talk shows before the new year.
