Imaje's Jaime 54 Plus Ink Jet Coders for Konhe[beta].


Scotland's first organic dairy are using Imaje ink-jet coding technology to illustrate a major consumer benefit in their distribution and quality.

Konhe[beta] Farm Creamery creamery: see dairying.  have spent 3 years 'cleansing' the pastures to qualify for organic accreditation and have now launched organic semi-skimmed Jersey milk under the Konhe brand name.

Konhe[beta] have refined the pasteurising and distribution process so that time from milking to purchase is down to 15 hours, compared to up to 4 days with some milk distribution chains. To make consumers aware of the freshness of the Konhe[beta] milk, the packaging is coded with both the time and date of milking and the best before date. Packs from a 3 am milking are often on the shelves by the end of the same day.

Imaje, tel:0124 440 4850, have supplied a Jaime S4 Plus ink jet printer See inkjet printer. , linked to a Pasturepak machine filling 1 litre LITRE. A French measure of capacity. It is of the size of a decimetre, or one-tenth part of a cubic metre. It is equal to 61.028 cubic inches. Vide Measure.  Variopak cartons. Alcohol-based inks have replaced MEK Noun 1. MEK - a terrorist organization formed in the 1960s by children of Iranian merchants; sought to counter the Shah of Iran's pro-western policies of modernization and opposition to communism; following a philosophy that mixes Marxism and Islam it now attacks the  solvent-based inks in the print-head to complement the environmentally responsible culture of the dairy.

The carton design includes a 1595 map of Dumfries and Galloway Dumfries and Galloway (Dùn Phris agus an Gall-Ghaidhealaibh in Gaelic) is one of 32 council areas of Scotland. To the north, it borders onto South Ayrshire, East Ayrshire and South Lanarkshire; in the east the Borders; and to the south the county of Cumbria in England.  as the background, using that era's spelling of the farm KonheB as the brand name. Using a similar design in blue, non organic Ayrshire milk from neighbouring Dumfriesshire farms is also being packed and distributed by Konhe[beta], again with dates of milking printed by Imaje S4 plus unit.
