These IT friendly solutions provide breakthrough tools that allow offices to implement labor and cost saving strategies like Internet communication of hard copy documents, at the same time improving the speed and professionalism of document production and distribution.

Complementing Imagistics' existing award-winning line are the im2020, im2520, im2520f, and im3520 multifunction copier/printer/scanners: affordable, compact, reliable low-to-mid volume solutions. Each features an adaptable, modular design In the context of systems engineering, modular design — or "modularity in design" — is an approach aiming to subdivide a system into smaller parts (modules) that can be independently created and then used in different systems to drive multiple functionalities.  that provides for custom configuration and flexible upgrade paths to match a business' evolving applications, such as network printing, cost saving scanning, or professional finishing.

"With advanced document printing, copying, scanning, sending, and management capabilities, the im2020, im2520, im2520f, and im3520 assume the position of value leaders in the low-to-mid volume MFP (MultiFunction Printer, MultiFunction Peripheral) See all-in-one and MFD.  marketplace" stated Nat Gifford, Imagistics' vice president of Product Development and Marketing. "Competitively priced, they are excellent alternatives for businesses seeking to consolidate stand-alone equipment into a space saving, more capable multifunction device; automate existing processes like duplexing or booklet making; and communicate inside and outside the workgroup or small office to speed the distribution of information and lower expenses associated with document/data transfer."

Each configuration is a fully capable digital copier with an 80-sheet Reversing Automatic Document Feeder In multifunction or all-in-one printers, fax machines, photocopiers and scanners, Automatic Document Feeder or ADF is a feature which takes several pages and feeds the paper one page at a time into the scanner, allowing the user to scan (and thereby copy, print, or fax)  (RADF RADF Reversing Automatic Document Feeder

), dual 550-sheet universal cassettes, a 150-sheet Stack Bypass, and standard duplexing. Customers may increase paper capacity and choose from several simple yet sophisticated output options including saddle-stitch finishing and hole punching See UDP hole punching. .

Designed to be versatile, these competitively priced units can support a number of productivity enhancing network attachment options for printing, scanning, and Internet fax Using the Internet to send faxes. The company's web site at www.imagistics.com contains further details on these feature rich products:

-- The im2020 is the value leader of the series. At 20-cpm/ppm

with a suggested maximum volume of up to 100,000 impressions

per month, and backed by Imagistics nationwide sales and

on-site service organization, the im2020 provides an

attractive alternative to the high operating, supply and

service costs of stand-alone, cartridge-based copiers and

printers.

-- The im2520 is also an entry-level solution, but for customer

environments with slightly higher volumes (up to 120,000

impressions per month). Its 25-cpm/ppm speed makes it is an

attractive option for workgroups stepping up from desktop and

lower volume devices.

-- The im2520f matches all the functionality of the im2520, but

adds standard network printing and Super G3 fax capabilities.

As a result, the im2520f is a communications hub device that

can consolidate multiple stand-alone desktop devices,

including faxes, printers, and scanners.

-- The flagship of the series, the im3520 is a mid-volume

workgroup solution that operates at 35-cpm/ppm with standard

network printing and a suggested maximum monthly volume of

150,000 impressions.

Each of these products provides ease of use through features like the Multi-job Function to eliminate lines at the copier, the ability to feed mixed size originals in a single job, and intuitive control panel screens to guide users through programming. Plus, network connected users enjoy complete system control from remote workstations through the Imagistics Printer Management Utility designed to simplify installing, monitoring, and managing network connected systems.
