Imagine Games Network Re-Launches Its Popular Site; Largest Computer and Video Game Destination on the Web Takes on a Whole New Look.

BRISBANE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 8, 1998--The Imagine Games Network, the largest computer and video game destination on the web, launched last week its new bold and sexy design with a completely updated interface designed to ensure every one of IGN's 30 sites is only one-click away from the other.

"In the past, we've struggled with how to fully integrate all the areas of our network," said Julian Rignall, editorial director of IGN. "With more than 1.5 million visitors, we are now able to ensure that they can navigate through IGN and our affiliate sites quickly and easily."

Advertisers will also appreciate the new interface. The benefits include more effective targeting along with consistent placements in certain and sometimes surprising locations within IGN. "The new interface will no doubt mean continued success of IGN as a market leader," said Simon Whitcombe, publisher of IGN. "Advertisers have so many more options as well as more targeted placement. The cutting edge navigation is pleasing everyone."

IGN will continue to be updated on a daily basis with smart, entertaining reviews and previews for console and PC games as well as informative industry features. IGN is the number one computer and video game destination on the web with 1.5 million visitors each month.
