Business/Technology Editors

Combine Still Images, Video, Music, Narration, Scrolling Credits

and More to Preserve Precious Memories for DVDs or Videotapes

Capture your summer family vacation, a reunion weekend with friends, or preserve a digital photo album including junior's artwork on your home PC with DATA BECKER Corp.'s Home Movie Maker. Add your favorite music, personal narration and text to preserve memories forever. This new product makes it easy to combine photos from a digital camera, or video clips and graphics from a download with music, background audio tracks and your own narration, to produce a home movie for a DVD player, PC, or videotape player.

"Home Movie Maker offers a fun and creative approach to the family home movies of yesterday," said Howard March, president and CEO of DATA BECKER. "Imagine directing a family home movie complete with relatives narrating and your favorite music as background audio, or a movie documenting a family vacation incorporating still images, video clips and narration. Home Movie Maker offers endless possibilities for capturing and creating family fun."

Home Movie Maker is easy to use and offers a number of features that allow users to imagine, create and enjoy home movies. For example, users can either choose video clips and graphics from the 2 jam packed CDs included, connect their digital camera to a PC to use existing video clips or still images, or even input video using an analog card right from a webcam, TV, or VCR. Users can add over 50 dazzling special effects and editable transitions to their video including Zoom, Sparkle, Solarize and Random Flip. Insert scrolling credits, animated titles and logo overlays just as easily as drag-and-drop.

Home Movie Maker uses an easy-to-use storyboard interface, making it one of the simplest programs for users to edit and enhance their movie frame by frame and to preview the home movie in real-time for flawless results. Users can add their own narration, favorite music and background audio tracks and then crop, adjust, rotate, resize, zoom and view the home movie in fast or slow motion, fading audio in and out. After the home movie is complete, the masterpiece can be saved as MPEG, QuickTime or AVI, to be shared on a computer, videotape or DVD player.

Home Movie Maker is available today at www.databecker.com and other online resellers, and at various computer, software specialty, consumer electronics, and office supply chains nationwide. It retails for $39.95.
