Imagination Software Adds Seasoned Executive Talent to Expand Product Sales; Patrick Brim Named VP of Sales, Following Proven Success at Leading Technology Corporations.

SILVER SPRING, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 19, 1999--Imagination Software, Inc., the leading player in intranet document imaging, has named Patrick Brim as vice president of sales to help drive demand for the company's ActiveX component technology products. Brim's responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with OEMs, ISVs, VARs and Integrators, to enhance revenues and productivity.

Prior to Imagination, Brim was vice president of sales and business development at XDB Systems, Inc., an internet business solutions company, where he played an integral role in completing distribution agreements with blue-chip companies such as Sun and Sybase, as well as establishing new, lucrative VAR and OEM contracts.

Previous to working as XDB Systems, Inc., Brim was the district manager of the GTE Tandem Communications Division of Tandem Computers, Inc., where his responsibilities included managing all sales and support activities on a worldwide basis and establishing account strategies that aligned with GTE's overall direction. In addition, he worked as the marketing manager for UNISYS/Burroughs Corporation, where he helped to launch the UNISYS Network Applications Platform. Brim graduated from Nebraska University with a degree in Business Administration, and received an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas.
