SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 11, 2003

Cenus Technologies(TM), an emerging networking company located in Scotts Valley, Calif. announced today that Imagin, Inc. will use the Cenus NPX NPX Numeric Processor Extension (TM) to provide secure, optimal connections for Imagin's network backup and storage services.

Imagin maintains local area networks for many high-profile client companies, including the Mississippi Bar Association and clients in other sectors including CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism. Its annual awards honored outstanding examples in print, broadcast and electronic media. The CPA disbanded in 2000.  firms, service companies and retail establishments. The client companies run largely Windows 2000 based servers and 2000/XP workstations. Most clients are using cable or DSL DSL

, including firewalls and other procedures. The networks are remotely managed the majority of the time.

"Imagin has selected Cenus because, as the premier application networking product, the NPX can provide optimal path selection between our clients and service points over the public Internet. With the firewall and VPN (Virtual Private Network) A private network that is configured within a public network (a carrier's network or the Internet) in order to take advantage of the economies of scale and management facilities of large networks.  capabilities of the NPX, we have a single platform that handles application-level routing and security," states Lane Holmes, president of Imagin. "With the ability of the NPX to scale infinitely, we can grow our customer base and offerings, without outgrowing the NPX capabilities."

Using the NPX, a single network device can provide optimal path between the client and host, VPN, QoS and Firewall services. Perhaps more importantly, the system is one that allows for easy expansion and growth of the networking facilities, one that places no limits of scale on Imagin's growth potential.

Imagin has developed and licensed an e-government software application to the State of Mississippi, Division of Medicaid, and plans to deploy the application in an ASP environment for other states in the 4th quarter of 2003 utilizing Cenus Technologies solutions.
