Imagenetix Inc. (OTCBB:IAGX), www.imagenetix.net, a nutritional supplement company, today announced that its Director of Asian Marketing Yueling Chen, has become an official spokesperson for the 2001 Summer National Senior Games -- The Senior Olympics (2001 Games), which will be held in Baton Rouge, La., July 14-28.

This year's event will feature more than 9,000 athletes ages 50 and older competing in 18 Olympic-style sports.

Chen, www.yuelingchen.com, is the only woman to have ever competed for both the United States and the Chinese Olympic track and field teams. She is an Olympic Gold Medalist and a world-class race walker who has won virtually every international competition and set a world record for the Olympic 10K inaugural event.

After becoming the first Asian woman to ever win a track and field gold medal during the 1992 competition in Barcelona, Spain, she is the only living athlete to have a bronze statue unveiled in China to honor her accomplishment.

Shortly after having won an Olympic gold medal as a member of the Chinese Race Walking team in 1992, Chen moved from the People's Republic of China to the United States. She became popular around the world as she resumed her athletic career in 1998 after a six-year layoff. She later became a U.S. citizen and earned the right to represent the United States in the 20K inaugural race-walk of the 2000 Olympic games held in Sydney, Australia.
