 and emerging digital formats.

But to keep the company growing it still comes down to the programming it offers viewers regardless of how it is watched.

Chatsworth-based Image has staked a reputation in the $20-plus billion home entertainment market with special interest product such as comedy and music specials, documentaries and sports programming.

"The company has built a successful strategy on distributing that type of product," Fink said.

Fink has an extensive marketing and sales background in the entertainment industry.

Prior to Miramax, Fink served for 10 years as president of sales and marketing at Artisan Entertainment where he supervised su·per·vise

Fink brings to Image a wide range of skills and a proven ability of identifying and exploring new business opportunities, said Image Chief Operating Officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The position of chief marketing officer is a new one for Image. In the role, Fink coordinates the sales, marketing and acquisition departments whose activities tend to be codependent codependent or co-dependent

"It just made sense as the company looks to grow its acquisitions and distribution capabilities to have these three divisions brought under one umbrella," Fink said.

While the libraries at Miramax and Artisan had a high number of titles, the one that Fink works with at Image is larger still with 3,000 exclusive titles.

One of his goals is to expand on that library with additional special interest product while also bringing in feature films for distribution, Fink said.

In September September: see month. , Image inked a deal with Relativity Media to release feature film titles on all home video and digital formats. Relativity financed, co-produced or executive produced "Talladega Nights," "RV," and "Inside Man."
