Illinois: taxpayers approve disability recreation levy.


In December taxpayers approved a state-wide levy of about 25 cents a month per $100,000 of home value to fund the cost of recreation for adults and children with disabilities.

The bill was original introduced last Spring, when it was approved by both houses, but vetoed by Illinois' governor, Governor Rod R. Blagojevich. According to according to
