If you get a nosebleed.


* Stay calm.

* Gently blow your nose.

* Tilt your head slightly forward.

* With a tissue in your hand, firmly pinch shut the

sides of your nostrils with your thumb and your

finger (it should sound funny when you talk).

Keep pinching for ten minutes.

* If the bleeding does not stop, do this again for

ten more minutes.

* If the bleeding continues, your parents should

call a doctor or take you to the nearest

emergency room.
