Idaho calls for federal Constitution Restoration Act.


In March both chambers of the Idaho legislature The Idaho Legislature is the state legislature of the U.S. state of Idaho. It consists of the upper Idaho Senate and the lower Idaho House of Representatives. The Idaho Senate contains 35 Senators, who are elected from 35 districts.  passed a "joint memorial" petitioning the U.S. Congress to enact the Constitution Restoration Act (H.R. 1070/S. 520), which would limit the jurisdiction of the federal courts. The Idaho memorial says that the Constitution Restoration Act would protect the ability of the people of Idaho to:

(1) Display the Ten Commandments Ten Commandments or Decalogue [Gr.,=ten words], in the Bible, the summary of divine law given by God to Moses on Mt. Sinai. They have a paramount place in the ethical system in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.  in public buildings and places in our states;

(2) Express their faith in public;

(3) Retain God in the Pledge of Allegiance Pledge of Allegiance, in full, Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, oath that proclaims loyalty to the United States. and its national symbol. ;

(4) Retain "In God We Trust" as our national motto; and

(5) Utilize Article 3, 2.2 of the U.S. Constitution to except these areas from the jurisdiction of the U.S. Supreme Court.

Idaho is the second state to urge passage of the Constitution Restoration Act; Louisiana Louisiana (ləwē'zēăn`ə, lē'–), state in the S central United States. It is bounded by Mississippi, with the Mississippi R.  became the first last November.
