Iceberg's joint venture partner is the international shipping company, Allan Idd Jensen, of Nuuk, Greenland. The Greenland joint venture company will be known as "Aquapolaris." Through Jensen, the joint venture has been granted the first license to draw water from a waterfall in the Nuuk area. Recent proposed legislation introduced by the Greenland Homerule Government is considered to be favorable to the business aspects of this joint venture. John Briscoe, senior water adviser at the World Bank was recently quoted in an article as being blunt when he described the Global looming water shortage: Unless people learn to use water more efficiently, there won't be enough freshwater to sustain the Earth's population.
