The well-deserved popularity of the Greenhill Military Manuals series is exemplified once again by this revised edition of the late Ian Hogg's original work, which appeared in 1994. This bold step in publishing gladdens the heart of this reviewer, who now feels he is surely not alone in his interest in things military in general and small arms small arms, firearms designed primarily to be carried and fired by one person and, generally, held in the hands, as distinguished from heavy arms, or artillery.
