IVF AUSTRALIA GIVES BIRTH TO IVF AMERICA
GREENWICH, Conn., May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- IVF Australia, the fastest

growing in vitro fertilization organization in the United States, announced it has changed its name to IVF America.
"We've always been an American organization," stated Vicki Baldwin, founding director of IVF America. The original name was selected because Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, is the company's source of major research advancements benefiting infertile couples.
"Each year we provide more services to patients by using the newest technologies from our research team," said Ms. Baldwin. "And now we're reaching more patients by establishing new Programs across the country." The new company name, IVF America, better reflects the expansion of the organization in America.
In 1992, IVF America will open two new Programs, IVF America Program - Saint Barnabas Medical Center, in West Orange, N.J., and Henry Ford IVF America Program in Troy, Mich.
There are currently four established Programs: IVF America Program at United Hospital, in Port Chester, N.Y.; IVF America Program - Boston at WalthamWeston Hospital & Medical Center in Waltham, Mass.; IVF America Program - Long Island in Mineola, N.Y.; and Allegheny General Hospital IVF America Program, in Pittsburgh, Pa.
IVF America Programs have large, multidisciplinary staffs devoted exclusively to providing assisted reproductive treatment services. State-of-the-art facilities include advanced ultrasound and embryology laboratories. Seven-day, dedicated procedure rooms ensure that each patient's egg retrieval and embryo or gamete transfer are precisely timed to maximize the likelihood that a pregnancy will develop.
In addition to physicians, nurses, embryologists and ultrasound specialists, IVF America staff includes counselors who are experts in helping couples cope with emotions often associated with infertility and treatment. Financial counselors specializing in assisting couples with insurance reimbursement are also integral to IVF America Program teams.
