Illinois Tool Works Illinois Tool Works or ITW (NYSE: ITW) is a Fortune 500 company that produces engineered fasteners and components, equipment and consumable systems, and specialty products. It was founded in 1912 by Byron L. Smith, and three other men Frank W. England, Paul B.  Inc., Glenview, Ill., has purchased Franklynn Industries, Inc., Loveland, Ohio Loveland (IPA: /ˈlʌvlənd/) is a city in Hamilton, Clermont, and Warren counties in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Ohio. . Franklynn--a supplier of mold releases, sealers, and rust-proofers--will remain in Loveland as part of ITW ITW In The Wild (informatics, antivirus research)
