ITT HARTFORD POLICYHOLDERS CAN CALL TOLL-FREE NUMBER TO REPORT CLAIMS
 HARTFORD, Conn., Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Florida residents insured by ITT Hartford Insurance Group who have suffered property damage as a result of Hurricane Andrew are encouraged to call the company's toll- free emergency phone number: 1-800-243-5860. Phone lines are open 24 hours.
 Meanwhile, ITT Hartford has dispatched a team of 100 experienced claim adjusters to the south Florida area to supplement the existing claim staff based in Hollywood, Fla., to handle policyholder claims.
 "Our first priority is to ensure that our policyholders get the help they need as quickly as possible so that they can begin rebuilding," said Robert Menello, ITT Hartford's regional claim manager.
 ITT Hartford policyholders who suffer damage to their property are asked to make temporary repairs to prevent further damage and to retain receipts for such work.
