ITSI was one of 20 companies that were awarded HERC prime contracts. The prime contractors will share in project awards totaling up to $15 billion ($6 billion base amount) through the HERC contract. The HERC contracts represent the next major series of contract vehicles that the AFCEE will use to meet the long-term requirements of the Air Force, the Department of Defense (DoD), and other federal agencies. Under the HERC, ITSI will execute Task Orders that support worldwide Air Force requirements for heavy industrial and commercial construction at project sites in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America.
