The symptoms are redness, swelling, heat, and pain resulting from dilation of the blood vessels in the affected part with loss of plasma and leucocytes (white blood  caused by a tight band of tissue that extends from your hip to the outside of your knee), try crosstraining on a recumbent recumbent /re·cum·bent/ (re-kum´bent) lying down.
