ITAI showcases file and computer security using smart cards at CardTech/SecurTech '96.


MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 27, 1996--Integrated Technologies of America (ITAI ITAI Institute of Traffic Accident Investigators (R)), a smart card system integrator, will be showcasing their data and computer security products at CardTech/SecurTech in Arlington, VA on September 30 and October 1, 1996.

Showcased will be the newly released SecureVAULT(TM), a patented pre-boot computer security access control system using a MicroCard smart card and demonstrated on a Gateway2000 computer.

ITAI(R) will also demonstrate its soon to be released SecureFEDS(TM), a patent pending File Encryption/Decryption System. It transforms data files into an unreadable form that then can be securely transmitted over the Internet, World Wide Web, Global Trade Point Network or point to point. The data files can only be accessed and restored to a readable format with use of an authorized E-Key(TM) (an electronic key that is encrypted en·crypt
