IT'S WAY COOL BEAT THE HEAT WITH A DIP IN THE POOL.


All across the Valley, community pools are popular spots for the young and young at heart to stay cool during the hot summer months.

The pools, which are operated by the Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  Department of Recreation and Parks, are visited by hundreds of thousands of Valley residents annually. Some pools offer extra fun ways to get drenched drench

At the Granada Hills pool, the diving boards are popular with young swimmers. Some dive, some do flips and others make a big splash Big Splash could refer to:

 with a cannonball.
