IT&E International Awarded Long-Term Contract with the U.S. Government's GSA to Expand Clinical Research and Regulatory Affairs Service Offerings to Federal Agencies.

SAN DIEGO -- IT&E International Group (OTCBB:ITER) announced today the award of a multi-year General Services Administration (GSA) Management, Organizational and Business Improvement Services (MOBIS) contract from the U.S. Government, paving the way for the company to step up the wide range of services it offers to a variety of governmental agencies and institutions.

The broad scope contract allows IT&E to greatly expand its pre-approved managed services offerings to federal agencies across the globe who have funding available for critical projects at pre-negotiated prices. The terms of the contract are for an initial five-year period with the option to renew for three additional five-year periods, for a total of up to 20 years.

"This is a major event for IT&E and its Federal Services Division, capping a six month long process to obtain this significant contract with the Federal Government. Government agencies will now be able to quickly identify specific services offered by IT&E and enter into Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) without negotiating prices or getting prior approval. Utilizing the well-known Federal Supply Service process, IT&E will be able to offer a greatly simplified service acquisition capability to its government clients, such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This streamlines the process government agencies must use to retain IT&E's services on a multi-year basis and in support of large-scale projects, in essence cutting out much of the red tape.
