ISRI pumps up tires.


The Institute of Scrap Recycling recycling, the process of recovering and reusing waste products—from household use, manufacturing, agriculture, and business—and thereby reducing their burden on the environment.  Industries Inc. (ISRI ISRI Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries

) will present its fourth annual Tire Recycling Tire recycling is the process of recycling vehicles tires (or tyres) that are no longer suitable for use on vehicles due to wear or irreparable damage (such as punctures).  Business Summit, Sept. 17-18, at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare, Rosemont, Ill.

 ISRI, the Tire Recycling Business Summit has been designed for experienced scrap tire processors who want to stay informed of industry issues as well as those who want to learn more about the scrap tire industry and meet its leaders, suppliers and customers.

This year's workshops will focus on approaches to sorting, classifying, and exporting tires; innovative approaches to handling tire fiber; ISRI's Design for Recycling program; domestic scrap tire programs; safety and insurance; and proper maintenance techniques. An exhibit and networking lounge will allow participants to explore the latest in products and services between workshop sessions.

The workshops will be preceded by ISRI's Scrap Tire Processors Chapter's meeting and dinner Sept. 16.

Registration fees are $270 for ISRI members and $370 for non-members. Non-members who join ISRI within 30 days of the summit receive a $100 credit on their initial ISRI dues.
