BENSALEM, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 21, 2002

The General Assembly of Pennsylvania Senate Bill No 1213 was signed into law on October 8th 2002.

This bill includes $ 750,000 for dredging dredging, process of excavating materials underwater. It is used to deepen waterways, harbors, and docks and for mining alluvial mineral deposits, including tin, gold, and diamonds.  at the Tioga Terminal RO-RO (roll-on, roll-off) berth (base project allocation) and $ 3,000,000.00 for demolition of pier 179 at the Tioga Terminal (base project allocation). These allocations are in addition to a previous year's allocation of $500,000 for dredging at the RO-RO berth.
