The group says that consumption fell for 12 consecutive months up to January January: see month.  2002, and it was off at an annual rate of 3.8% in January. But the IRSG feels that North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere.  has approached a trough Trough
