IRS announces possible new features for Web site.Starting this summer, the IRS hopes to offer the following new publications and services on its Web site: * The Internal Revenue Manual (the IRS manual of policies and procedures for employees). * The Internal REvenue Bulletin. * Market segment specialization program audit guides (which tell agents how to audit particular industries or types of taxpayers). * Postings of formal practitioner comments on proposed regulations. * A searchable database Refers to databases on the Web that are searchable by typing in a query. The term is quite redundant because all databases are searchable. In fact, that is one of their major features. However, since almost anything can be called a database, including a collection of HTML pages, searchable database refers to a traditional database accessible via the Web.
