, he trotted the globe teaching, choreographing, serving as ballet master, and staging ballets by Robbins and Balanchine before settling in London to teach professional classes at studios in Covent Garden.

Prinz's latest work, a new staging of the ballet Cinderella, has its world premiere this April in Colorado, performed by the Boulder Ballet, a midsize pre-professional company. Principal roles are danced by Robin Canup Mihran, Anna Blackburn-Wittman, Kristin St. John, and Aha Claire. Aspen Ballet's Seth DelGrasso guest stars as does former Royal Ballet principal Peter Franklin White.

Excited at the prospect of choreographing again, Prinz says he also appreciates the excitement of the Boulder Ballet dancers. "They are so hardworking. I often find these situations more enjoyable than working with more established companies. These dancers have such eagerness." A recent run-through revealed a cast well on its way to realizing Prinz's artistic vision.
