Among Martino's accomplishments are the design and implementation of a successful loan monitoring, inspection and analysis system, which led to a higher credit rating on more than $500 million of HFA bonds. He was also instrumental in the creation of the nation's first tax-exempt financed housing development for the homeless. Martino has long been active in professional, community and philanthropic organizations. He previously served as president of the Greater New York Chapter of IREM and as IREM Regional Vice-President. Martino serves on the board of the Vanderbilt YMCA YMCA in full Young Men's Christian Association Nonsectarian, nonpolitical Christian lay movement that aims to develop high standards of Christian character among its members. in Manhattan and is a member of the Columbus Citizens Foundation.
