IRAQ - Future Objectives.

An oil ministry paper presented at a Baghdad Baghdad or Bagdad (both: băg`dăd, bägdäd`), city (1987 pop. 3,841,268), capital of Iraq, central Iraq, on both banks of the Tigris River. The city's principal economic activity is oil refining.  oil/gas seminar on March 11-12, 1995, set out the priorities for the refining refining, any of various processes for separating impurities from crude or semifinished materials. It includes the finer processes of metallurgy, the fractional distillation of petroleum into its commercial products, and the purifying of cane, beet, and maple sugar  sector in the post-embargo period as follows:

- Reduction of sulphur Sulphur, city, United States
Sulphur, city (1990 pop. 20,125), Calcasieu parish, SW La.; inc. 1914. It is a trade center for an area producing natural gas, oil, and timber as well as sorghum, soybeans, cattle, and crawfish.
content to 0.05% and 3% in gasoil and fuel oil.

- Phasing out of lead from the gasoline gasoline or petrol, light, volatile mixture of hydrocarbons for use in the internal-combustion engine and as an organic solvent, obtained primarily by fractional distillation and "cracking" of petroleum, but also obtained from natural gas, by  pool.

- Maximisation of light\middle distillates production by upgrading refineries.

- Expanding refining capacity "in line with future patterns of domestic demand".

- Preference is to be given to refining medium and heavy crude oils Heavy crude oil or Extra Heavy oil is any type of crude oil which does not flow easily. It is a relative term, compared to light crude oil, but relates to specific technical issues of its own on production, transportation, and refining.  due to an expected rise of their proportions in future production.

- Meeting various environmental concerns.

- Upgrading of performance levels of main types of lubricants lubricants

preparations for the lubrication of passages to reduce frictional injury, e.g. oily preparations, including petroleum jelly, lanolin or water-soluble preparations such as methyl cellulose.
.

- "Entering into joint venture agreements to refine Iraqi oil abroad".
