IRAN - May 7 - Reformist Publisher's Prison Sentence Voided.

IRNA reports the appeals court has voided a 4-month prison sentence handed down on Mohammed Reza Zohdi, publisher of the reformist newspaper Arya, but upheld a 2-year ban on his working in the media and also fined him. (This comes as welcome news for Pres. Khatami's reformist camp ahead of the June 8 presidential elections).
