IR temperature sensor.


The Transtemp 1000 Series is said to represent a simple non-contact temperature measuring sensor that features a two-wire design for easy installation and operation. The temperature limits are -50[degrees]F (-45[degrees]C) to 4,500[degrees]F (2,500[degrees]C) with six selectable infrared spectral filters for application optimization. The two-wire design utilizes 24 Vdc power with 4-20 mA output and is used as a direct interface with existing control and data acquisition systems. Transtemp 1000 sensors are used where product temperature influences product quality and process optimization Process optimization is the practice of making changes or adjustments to a process, to get results.

Optimization is the use of specific techniques to determine the most cost effective and efficient solution to a problem or design for a process.
