IQzone allows consumers to create free photo or video mobile classifieds.

IQzone Inc. Scottsdale, Ariz., launched a new service for posting free classified ads via mobile phone. Users can take a video or photo of anything they want to sell, trade, promote, or give away, and instantly broadcast it to millions from their mobile phone, the company says.

"IQzone is Craigslist with a dash of YouTube for the mobile generation, and that's just the beginning. People can share videos, photos--a whole world of mobile user-generated content beyond classifieds--and monetize it or simply share it," says CEO Michael Bates.

To use the service, consumers simply take a video or photo with their phones; add text, prices, and their ZIP Codes; and send them to ad@iqzone.com. IQzone automatically categorizes the item for sale and broadcasts the ad to the world of free online classifieds and RSS feeds. Ads can also be shared with your Facebook friends.

IQzone expands text-message abbreviations and turns the ad into plain English, so users don't have to change the way they "text." There is nothing to download.

To protect users' privacy, they can remain anonymous via voice or text-message, and may delete ads whenever they want. Users mobile numbers are never revealed.
