IPR International, a leader in data protection and recovery, today announced an agreement with Rohm and Haas Company, the Philadelphia-based specialty materials firm. (NYSE:ROH). According to the terms of the contract, IPR will implement its DATAGUARDIAN(TM) On Demand service for data backup at 17 domestic Rohm and Haas facilities. The new system will automate backup processes and enable Rohm and Haas to protect critical data with consolidated and centralized IT control and management, all with minimal on-site IT support.

The first facility to implement the DATAGUARDIAN electronic vaulting solution is located in Blacksburg, Virginia, which served as a test site for the company. IPR will scale quickly to 16 other locations across the United States.
