Since graduating from Northeastern University Northeastern University, at Boston, Mass.; coeducational; founded 1898 as a program within the Boston YMCA, inc. 1916, university status 1922, fully independent of the YMCA 1948.  with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration, Mr. Shiner has achieved many notable accomplishments in both the business and academic communities. In 1973, Mr. Shiner co-founded Laser Inc., which was later acquired in 1980 by Coherent Inc. Bill remained with Coherent in their Industrial Division until 1995 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Bill then became Chief Operating Officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)
