The exhibition has gained the support of the U.S. and Chinese governments. IPC and the U.S. Department of Commerce will conduct an official trade mission to China and a visit to the conference and exhibition. Also, the Guangzhou government has assigned the Guangzhou Economic and Technology Development District Administrative Committee and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) is an organ of the Chinese national government created in the year 1952. The CCPIT promotes Chinese international economic and commercial interests. Guangzhou Sub-Council to assist in the successful production of the show. Both organizations plan to collect speakers for a technical conference that covers board design through manufacture and electronics assembly through test. A full schedule of half--and full-day educational courses specifically designed for local engineers and technical professionals is planned. IPC plans to introduce standards development meetings for the first time at an electronics assembly show in China.
