IP plans sale of Decorative Products Division. (Trends & News).


International Paper Co. of Stamford, CT, announced that it has entered a purchase and sale agreement to sell its Decorative Products Division to an affiliate of Kohlberg & Co., a private merchant banking firm with offices in New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 and California.

The agreement is not final and is subject to continuing due diligence Research; analysis; your homework. This term has caught on in all industries, because it sounds so "wired." Who would want to do analysis or research when they can do due diligence. See wired.  and other terms.

Last June, IP and Panolam Industries International of Shelton, CT, agreed to a letter of intent for Panolam to purchase the Decorative Products Division, but that deal later fell through.
