'Mobile Information Systems,' launched in April, carries editorial on mobile information systems research and development and is designed to serve as an outlet for facilitating communication and networking among researchers, practitioners and professionals. Editorial covers such subjects as mobility management, information transmission in mobile environments, and software infrastructures and frameworks. An annual subscription costs $330. The 'Journal of Embedded Computing' is a refereed international journal, providing an international forum to report, discuss and exchange experimental or theoretical results, novel designs, work-in-progress, experience, case studies, and trend-setting ideas. The title covers all aspects of embedded computing including embedded hardware support, embedded software, embedded system architecture, hardware/software co-design, real-time systems, sensor networks, testing and verification, industrial practices and embedded computing education. An annual subscription costs $300.
