HOUSTON -- INX Inc., (NASDAQ:INXI) announced today that its RouteStep Custom IP Products division has been engaged by the United States Department of Defense to provide advanced IP communications technologies. The purchase order is for $391,000 and includes four of RouteStep's FALCoN units.

INX Inc. has been engaged to provide advanced communications technologies to the Department of Defense multi-service counter-terrorism and counter-drug operation in the form of its revolutionary RouteStep FALCoN system. The FALCoN (Forward Area Lightweight Communication Node) was specifically designed as a portable unit allowing personnel to pull up to any location and quickly establish voice, video and data connectivity without the need for specialized training or complicated configurations on the ground. The RouteStep FALCoN is a compact, rapid deployable, self contained communications node that allows near-instantaneous voice and data capability in any field environment.
