INX Awarded Education Communication System Contract by New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department Juvenile Justice Education Agency (CYFD - JJS Education).

HOUSTON -- INX Inc., (NASDAQ:INXI) announced today that it has been awarded a $1.3 million dollar contract by The State of New Mexico's Children, Youth and Families Department to implement an education communication network.

The New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) Juvenile Justice Education Agency recently contracted INX to develop an education use communication system within the Juvenile Justice Education System. The project will improve remote access to educational resources and connectivity to other educational entities. INX will design, implement, and maintain the communication network. The network will incorporate Albuquerque's Youth Diagnostic Development Center (YDDC), Camino Nuevo, Las Cruces, Carlsbad, Springer and Eagle Nest educational facilities.

CYFD Juvenile Justice Education applied for and received E-rate funding to: facilitate increased bandwidth between statewide locations, install video conferencing equipment to facilitate distance education and the sharing of teaching resources within CYFD Juvenile Justice Schools, and increase distance education to in-state and out of state Higher Education Facilities. CYFD Juvenile Justice chose INX based on project requirements and the expertise that INX holds in the technology and the E-Rate process.

Jean Rightley, Superintendent of Education at CYFD, said, "We are excited to implement this technology network which will allow us to expand our educational services and provide our instructors with additional tools and skills. The support from INX to create this network is allowing our isolated sites to collaborate as a unified community of learners and teachers."

Ted Bonnell, Regional Manager of INX's Southwest Region, said, "The State of New Mexico and INX have a long standing relationship and we are pleased that CYFD has selected INX as their technology partner for this important project."

The project is scheduled for completion in July. The contract represents approximately $1.3 million in product and services revenue to INX.
