INTERVOICE PROVIDING NEW IVR APPLICATIONS TO MCI

DALLAS, July 20 /PRNewswire/ -- InterVoice(R) announced today that it will be providing additional voice response applications support to MCI. With this order, amounting to approximately $300,000, InterVoice continues to develop its relationship with MCI as defined in the master purchase agreement announced earlier this year. MCI is already using InterVoice's RobotOperator(R) interactive voice response system to assist in processing collect and third party calls.
"We are always looking for ways to improve service to our customers," said Jack Walters, director of signaling and systems integration at MCI. "These applications will provide enhanced capabilities for callers, while allowing our 800-service customers' service representatives to be more productive in responding to requests that involve detailed answers to questions."
"We are pleased to continue our relationship with MCI by augmenting the RobotOperator System with these applications," said Mark Jones, InterVoice director, telco sales. "We look forward to other opportunities to assist MCI in strengthening its service offerings."
