INTERQUEST ACQUIRES INTEREST IN SWISS-BASED ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL TECHNOLOGIES COMPANY.

, Interquest International Inc. has signed an agreement to acquire 15 percent equity interest in Techform Engineering AG, a private Swiss company based in Zurich.

Under the terms of the agreement Interquest will purchase shares for 800,000 Swiss Francs (approximately CDN (Content Delivery Network) A system of distributed content on a large intranet or the public Internet in which copies of content are replicated and cached throughout the network. $ 880,000) and has agreed to provide a credit facility to assist Techform in providing performance bonds to its customers backed by a letter of credit arranged by Interquest in the amount of 1,700,000 Swiss Francs (approximately CDN$ 1,544,280). Interquest has also been granted the option to acquire a further 18 percent equity interest in Techform, exercisable prior to Jan. 1, 1996.

Techform has developed patented leading-edge technologies in the areas of combustion, air pollution and emission monitoring systems. The Techform technology has been successfully implemented in European municipal waste incinerators, dramatically reducing maintenance costs and increasing the efficiency of emissions control. With the proceeds of the Interquest investment, Techform will market its technology in North America and elsewhere around the world.
