INTERNET PROVIDER FILES FOR BANKRUPTCY.

Tarzana-based Internet In A Mall Inc. has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Several sites closed late last month, including the Topanga Plaza location, after the bankruptcy filing, company employees said.

``There was about a week where we worked on a volunteer basis,'' said one employee who requested anonymity. ``Most people just left. We didn't know what happened. We just knew it was a big corporate thingy that was happening.''
