INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGY CORP. AWARDED NATIONWIDE AIR FORCE CENTER FOR ENVIRONMENTAL EXCELLENCE ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICE CONTRACT

 TORRANCE, Calif., Dec. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- International Technology Corp. (NYSE: ITX) (IT) announced today that it has completed negotiations with the Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence (AFCEE) for award of a contract for architectural and engineering services at Air Force installations nationwide. This indefinite delivery order contract has an estimated value of $50 million and will be executed over a five-year period. The scope of work will include: RCRA and CERCLA environmental assessments, investigation/feasibility studies, and remedial design services on locations at Air Force installations in the United States.
