 -- 1,500 attendees from 36 countries will hear from top industry, academic and government experts.
 -- The program provides insight into implementation of the worldwide ozone protection policy.
 -- Widely regarded as the pre-eminent forum for scholarly papers on CFC, halon and methyl chloroform alternatives, the conference's presentations and working sessions will feature industry, academic and government experts at the forefront of alternatives technology.
 Papers presented will serve to inform the industry regarding the state of chlorofluorocarbon use and the transition to alternative technology. The program is designed to provide insight into the implementation of EPA's ozone protection policy as well as implementation of ozone protection policy around the world.
 The conference will cover alternative technology in industries which include air conditioning, refrigeration, foam insulation and packaging, electronics, fire protection, medical and motor vehicle. Policy discussion will include safe alternatives, domestic and international ozone protection programs, technology transfer, science and effects, and global warming. Over 100 exhibiting companies will display the latest equipment, systems and services to an exceptionally qualified and influential audience. Conferees, news media and other guests will view the latest advancements on alternative technology.
 Following their presentations, each of the conference participants will be encouraged to make themselves available in the press room.
