INTERFAITH COUNCIL TO JOIN MARCH.

Byline: Daily News

The Santa Clarita Valley Interfaith Council is joining Sunday's March in Solidarity in West Hills, an event spurred by the shooting rampage at the North Valley Jewish Community Center.

Santa Clarita Valley residents are invited to show their solidarity with shooting victims in the 2 p.m. walk. Participants will gather at 1:30 p.m. at Fallbrook Avenue and Saticoy Street. The march will continue for about a mile.

In addition, the Interfaith Council is asking that people demonstrate goodwill and love for their neighbors by turning on their porch lights during the week of Aug. 22-29.

The council is a coalition of local places of worship.

For information, call the Rev. Stan Fix at (661) 297-3783 or Barry Smedberg at (818) 718-6460 Ext. 3002.
