INTERDIGITAL APPOINTS DIRECTOR OF CORPORATE RELATIONS

 KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., July 12 /PRNewswire/ -- InterDigital Communications Corporation (AMEX: IDC) announced today it has promoted David Buckingham to the newly created position of director of Corporate Relations.
 Buckingham, who was previously manager of shareholder relations for InterDigital, will be responsible for Corporate and Shareholder Relations. He will continue to be the point of contact for the financial community.
 InterDigital is a world leader in Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) and Broadband-Code Division Multiple Access (B-CDMA) wireless digital technology with an extensive United States and foreign patent portfolio.
